“A composição e o balanço de cores dessa foto é absolutamente lindo. O olhar nos leva para todos os elementos complexos da imagem e então você percebe que o centro da imagem é uma mãe urso polar e seus filhotes. O abandono da estrutura é uma mensagem poderosa de que a natureza pode e vai recuperar seu lugar de direito, apesar da bagunça que criamos a vida encontra um caminho. Para um animal como um urso polar, que está lutando por espaço para sua existência devido o constante derretimento do gelo marinho, a bravura demonstrada por essa mãe buscando um lugar para abrigar seus filhotes é uma cena reconfortante em meio ao gelado sentimento que a imagem mostra.”
